Vespers of the Nativity

Typically this would be sung in the early evening (sundown) on December 24; for 2023, we will sing it right after Divine Liturgy on the 24th to allow people time before returning for Vigil.

There are no unusual pieces that require practice for this service, but there is the special addition of several readings of prophecies with troparia sung in between.  This is also the first time we will sing the Troparion and Kontakion of the feast, which I have included here.
